Anyone who has been following this blog for awhile knows that I go through phases where I just don’t blog. Sometimes it is hard to get me motivated. And right now with my job search going awful, I have just had no motivation. But I have missed you guys and I am going to make an honest effort to keep up with you! I have decided to get myself back into the swing of things I am going to start with a light, easy post. I wanted to tell you about my Easter :).
Normally I don’t share much of my personal life on my blog so I will keep the details to a minimum. Basically on Easter day the boy and I spent some time with his family and watched the Bruins game which was really nice. But I wanted to make sure that we had something a little special just for us as well. So on Monday night my boy came home from work to this sitting next to a pan of his favorite wings…
Did you read it? At first he didn’t either. He grabbed the scratch ticket and started talking about dinner. Lol! Once I explained there was a note he went back and said “so you are really making me do a hunt?”. Yes dear I am.
It was a short little hunt put together by one of my favorite blogs. If you wanna see the whole date and their awesome printables check them out the Dating Divas. They are pretty awesome for making a boring night pretty fun.
The night turned out so well I am already brewing up some ideas in my head for some future fun nights. I will be sure to share them as I come up with them so you can try them with your loved ones as well :).
So bloggers I have missed you all, fill me in. What did you all do for your Easter?
looks like a great way to have some fun, did nothing much for Easter at my sea, just recently grossed out thee lol
Lol yes, yes you did my friend!
” Once I explained there was a note he went back and said “so you are really making me do a hunt?”. Yes dear I am.”
HAHAHAHAHAHA! That’s hilarious, Shae!
Easter, I spent outside sitting in the park enjoying the beautiful spring day. It was gorgeous here. It ended up being a wonderful day of R&R!.
So glad to see ya back blogging because you have missed!
Have a super weekend, girl!
X
Thanks for welcoming me back! Love my blogging buddies! Spending time outside is one of my fav things to do this time of year! I expect to see lots of Rontastic photos!
Oh, was it Easter…?
Which pretty much sums up the day for me. Nothing much got done other than running errands. I do miss when my kids were younger – I haven’t colored Easter eggs in ages!
Why do you need kids to do that? Go for it!
Sounds like you had a great time. My sister and I had dinner at our auntie’s house where I ate too much and drank too much–the perfect holiday.
Sounds like the perfect day! Hope your mothers day is comparable!
“Yes dear, I am.” lol. LOVE IT! Thanks for sharing our printables. 🙂
Of course they made our Easter extra special! Had a suggestion though. Could you guys make “care packages” for when the man of the house is sick? I wanted to give him something cute and sweet to life his spirits but my creativity was lacking because I too am sick.
I had a fairly relaxed Easter – now the kids have grown up and left home it’s not as frantic as it used to be (but I still ate a lot of chocolate) 😉
Lol well as long as the chocolate is there that is what counts!
I love the Dating Divas. I’ve used a lot of their ideas for Valentines and anniversaries.
Oh good…I can comment again! I’ve been blocked from commenting on WordPress blogs off and on for the past two weeks. I wanted to tell you that I read the Bill Bryson book and really enjoyed it.
so glad you enjoyed it! Stay tuned for the next book club post if you like the books we are reading 🙂
Arent they wonderful? Such fun!
